Brave rescue work history of Denmark

During the World War ll, brave Danish citizens saved more than 7,000 Jews by evacuating them to Sweden in order to avoid capture by the Nazis. This stone is the monument in Copenhagen, a symbol of gratitude to the Danish rescue of the Jews.

Now it shouldn’t happen but there is still war going on in some parts of the world. Once again they help people suffering from the war through “the Green Road Project”. The Green Road Project is a project which connects Ukrainian refugees with safe ecovillages across Ukraine and throughout Europe. There are about 30 ecovillages in Denmark. The 2nd pic is the map that shows the place open to Ukrainian.

I have an enormous respect for their efforts both now and in the past. I am frustrated by being powerless but I wish for world peace.
